Sometimes it’s ok to not be a minimalist. This winter is all about colour, pattern and popping some fun back into your wardrobe.
I wore a few pieces of the new Marks and Spencer collection across a weekend and it suited me to a tee.
CHECK IT OUT.
Checks have always been a go to of mine (next to old mate, stripes). Tuck this check top ($36) into a high waisted pair of pants or marry up with your fave denim. I also wore with a leagther mini which was fun. It’s long sleeves will keep you warm and looking cool.
Check top for only $36 – Shop it.
A pop of colour in a bag can lift an outfit. And your mood. This little one with the gold hardware is only $53. Looks leather but faux.
I was instantly drawn to the sleeve detail in this striped top ($50).
Navy is always a winner in my wardrobe anmd occasionally beats black.
I like to style with a high waisted dark-denim skirt or a pair of flared, tailored pants. This is a pretty stand-out piece so think about the rest of your outfit being a little more subdued.
My personal fave for winter, this $63, a-line mini.
Of course, opaque tights are always an option but sometimes it’s ok to go bare legs and a jacket.
If you wanted to style up for work, try a simple knit and a black ankle boot to smarten it up.
I may have also ‘carted’ this blush pink dress for $72, too. Couldn’t resist.
