I know you won’t believe me when I say this however I am actually low on weekend wear. Casual gear you can formally ‘bum’ around in. I find when I spend money it’s on something for a special occasion. And that doesn’t help the weekend wardrobe sitch.
Here’s a recent collab with Harris Scarfe I did. After sifting through the racks I realised a weekend edit would be on point! And just in time for Spring.
Here’s what I’m loving for a brunch ‘n’ shopping date come Saturday morning.
The Perfect Cardi
Three quarter sleeve. Covers your bottom. Great colourings. And a little strip of Indi-inspired pattern. Just how we like a spring cardi.
This one is super soft and would also look cool over a maxi dress in spring / summer.
Stripes For Life
The shirt-under-slim-fit-knit does wonders for weekend wear because all of a sudden you look like you’ve put in the effort. And I love the fact, this is an all in one number! The jeans are also Harris Scarfe and are comfy as hell.
You could add some neck bling too if you liked.
Earrings from Sheike.
Neutrals are everything
Once or twice a week I rock a neutral look. From head to toe. These soft, elastic waisted (yes, elastic waisted) jeans are tremendously comfy. The top is loose fitting so if you prefer your own skinny jeans, go for it. The added bling is Witchery (on sale for $29.95).
I would steer clear of cropped tops with these pants. Covering the waist band is preferable too. If you try it, you’ll know exactly what I mean.
Look out for grey and cream knits that you can team with light denim and pair of block heels! These jeans would also work well with a pair of white Cons.
